About Me

At Louisiana State University, I have worked in student media at multiple positions, published work in both print and radio and taken on multiple internships. I started in news, but I have also been a baseball beat reporter, a women’s basketball beat reporter and am now deputy sports editor.

Outside of student media, I worked with New Orleans Public Radio on a weeks-long radio series about the history of Tiger Stadium. I used radio recording equipment for all sources and cut audio on Adobe Premiere.

My favorite stories have been on the history of Tiger Stadium, a look at how LSU addresses CTE, examining the growth of women’s basketball and a feature on a formerly incarcerated paralegal.

Though most of my experience comes from sports, I also have interest in news. Print is my primary medium, but I am also comfortable with radio and video. I most enjoy enterprise stories that lean on sourcing. I am open to any sport, but football is my strength.
